In addition to founding Schulkes Consulting, Piotr is an associate fellow at the Carboun Institute, a think tank that focuses on climate and renewable energy in the Middle East. He was formerly a non-resident scholar at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C., where he researches sovereign wealth funds, renewable energy implementation, and the economic transitions in oil reliant states.

He earned a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Oxford in 2021. Piotr regularly writes on the Middle East’s financial sectors and renewable energy projects for think tanks and international publications. He lives in the Middle East part-time.
